Jaguar Gym

Jaguar Gymnasium has been home to the South Alabama volleyball team since its inaugural season back in 1974. During that time, USA has posted a 143-195 record at home The Jags’ best home record was a 11-0 mark during the 1982 season. On Oct. 6, 1998, USA played before a record crowd of 450 in a match versus Alabama.

Located in the HPELS Building, Jaguar Gym has also hosted USA men’s and women’s basketball games, the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament, and the Alabama High School Athletic Association Southwest Regional Basketball Tournament as well as other high school basketball events.

From Interstate I-65:

• Take Exit 3 (Airport Boulevard) off Interstate 65.
• This is the same exit for the Mobile Regional Airport.
• Go west on Airport Blvd. for 2.6 miles.
• Turn right (north) onto University Blvd. and go 0.8 miles.
• Turn left at the third traffic light (USA South Drive).
• Turn right onto Alumni Dr.
• Look for signs directing you to Meisler Hall.
• Park in Visitor’s parking lot.

From Mobile Regional Airport:

• Turn left (east) onto Airport Blvd. (toward downtown Mobile).
• Go approximately 4 miles.
• Turn left (north) onto University Blvd. and go 0.8 miles.
• Turn left at the third traffic light (USA South Drive).
• Turn right onto Alumni Dr.
• Look for signs directing you to Meisler Hall.
• Park in Visitor’s parking lot.

From U.S. Highway 98:

• Turn south onto Schillinger Road (toward Mobile Regional Airport).
• Go approximately 5 miles.
• Turn left (east) onto Airport Blvd.
• Go approximately 3.5 miles .
• Turn left (north) onto University Blvd. and go 0.8 miles.
• Turn left at the third traffic light (USA South Drive).
• Turn right onto Alumni Dr.
• Look for signs directing you to Meisler Hall.
• Park in Visitor’s parking lot.
